Half Blood Art Competition

Welcome! Another competition brought to you by The Art Store and it's owner the [Lady of Lore].

Now there have been many contests about half human half animal
contests but this will be a contest of more specific design. The limitations here are that your creatures must either half fell or half fair.

What does that mean?

Half Fell
Well half fell means that the humanoid is of half blood of the darker nature. Decendents of Demons, imps, balors, and evil dragons are half fell. For those familiar with the D&D creatures or games, these would include Galbrazu.


Half Fair
Half fair are those decendents of holier creatures. Planetars, Avorals, Hound Archons, Solars, Astral Divas, and good dragons. Any humanoid creature posessing half blood of one of these is acceptable.

Examples of Half Fell
Tiefling- any creature with telltale signs of evil heritage, pointed teeth, horns, red eyes, and cloven feet. They are sneaky subtle and conniving and hate a fair fight.

Draegloths the cross of a Galbrezu and Drow priestess. They have thin fur, stand 10 feet tall, long white mane, four arms like their Fell fathers, an elongated canine face, and dark skin like the drow.

Example of Half Fair
Aasimar- tall good looking creatures with a telltale sign of their divine heritage, silver hair, golden eyes, powerful stare, goat horns and a glowing aura. They live to bring justice into the world.

What Not To Enter With

I know that Elves, Fairys, and Angels are considered "fair" and that Drow hang somewhere between both "Fair" and "Fell" but none of these are allowed unless they are coupled with one of the other "fair" or "fell" creatures. So a half drow-half Dragon is acceptable or a half elf-half Astral Diva is acceptable.

The Rules

Follow the uploading art rules. Your image MUST be uploaded to Elftown.

No stealing other people's art. If you do you will be banned from future cometitions.

No whining that you can't do the classic elf, drow, angel, demon. This is a contest to help you expand your drawing horizon.

Contestants are allowed up to three entries. Though you could do mulitple halfbreed creatures together in one picture as well.

Need More Info?
Balor- a demon standing about 12 feet tall, bat wings, the horns of a bull, hands that are claws, a mane, and they can wreath themselves in flames.

Galbrezu- giants from the Abyss. They have four arms, the top two of which are pincers. It has long goat like horns on top of it’s canine-ish shaped head and fanged teeth.

Planetar- is also an angel of sorts, standing 9 feet tall and are 500lbs of incredible power. They wield glowing holy greatswords of massive size and love to fight fiends.

Solar- similar to the Planetar, also 9 feet tall, they have great commanding voices that are both beautiful and powerful. So powerful are they that only the strongest of fiends dare approach them in battle.

Asteral Divas- a type of angel per say, they are about 7 ½ feet tall weighing about 250lbs of solid power and beauty. They are incapable of deception. They often wield a very large, very holy mace.

Avoral-an avoral is a humanoid creature that closely related to birds. Though the body may be human their bones are hollow, standing on average at about 7 feet they weigh no more then 120lbs. Avorals do not have hands, instead they have great wings. At the midpoint of the wing there is a small hand and when the wings are folded these hands are where normal human hands would be and can function just as human hands would. An Avoral’s feet are large talons which it prefers to use in battle.
